| On enquiry an information pack will be given to
prospective parents and an introductory visit will be suggested and
arranged. On receipt of a completed waiting list form, a child's name will
be added to the waiting list. There is no charge for this. |
| Nursery places are subject to availability and staffing
levels. There will be equality of access to Nursery places as outlined in
the Forbury Gardens Day Nursery Equal Opportunities Policy. |
| When a place becomes available within a suitable age
group, parents of a child at the top of the waiting list will be contacted
and offered a place according to the start date required. |
| Priority will be given to children requiring all day
care five days a week, then to those requiring all day care on two to four
days a week, particularly those who can be successfully matched to make a
full time place. Occasionally children requiring half day care can be
accommodated particularly those requiring several sessions. Babies are
rarely accepted on a half day basis. A minimum of two whole days for any
child is preferable, but not necessarily essential. |
| If there is no-one on the waiting list for a particular
age group at the time the vacancy occurs, your child may be able to start
immediately after the administration process is complete. |
| Once a place at the Nursery has been guaranteed for your
child, up to three one hour settling in sessions are available free of
charge to children when accompanied by a parent. These are usually preferred
during the week prior to starting the Nursery. This gives the opportunity
for parents to fill in administration forms, exchange information and get to
know the child's key worker, staff and Nursery routines. |
| No place will be allocated / confirmed without the
regulations being accepted and a completed waiting list enrolment form being
received by the Nursery Manager. |
| The Nursery Manager reserves the right to cancel a place
or remove a child from the Nursery. |
| Payment for your child's place at the Nursery is required
in advance by a monthly standing order. This is to ease pressure at a busy
and potentially difficult time for both staff and parents. Any money owing
to you will be refunded by cheque. |
| A fee table and standing order form will be sent for
your completion with the place offer form. This will come into operation
from the first of the following month following your child's start at the
Nursery. During the interim period until the standing order is set up, we
require payment at least once a week in advance payable on the morning of
the first day of the week that your child is with us. |
| In the event of a cheque being represented or returned
by your bank, a fee to cover bank charges will be made for each
representation and / or final return. |
| A surcharge of £15.00 per child will be levied if
children are collected outside the Nursery hours between 6.00pm and 6.30pm.
Each further fifteen minute period will be charged at £15.00. |
| For an up to date table of our rates and fees, please
contact the nursery manager on 0118 958 8116 or email on
info@forburygardensdaynursery.co.uk. |
| Written notice of one month is required for a child
leaving the Nursery or one month's fees in lieu of such notice. |
| Fees are set to reflect the cost of the service provided
and the right is reserved to review them periodically. |
